Day 12 - Energy Entanglements
Day 12 - Energy Entanglements
Wow, well, this topic had me thinking for several days. The concept is simple, and obvious... Each commitment you make takes a little of your freedom away. Big things, such as marriage and kids, are obvious. So are Mortgages, credit cards and other financial obligations. But the not so obvious ones are things like... volunteer opportunities, favorite foods, addictions. These things are okay, if they are things that you have consciously chosen and/or bring you joy. They become "Entanglements" if they are things that no longer bring you joy.
When you identify an energy entanglement, you have two choices... 1 - change your mindset regarding that thing; 2 - Let it Go!!!
Things such as marriage, kids, mortgages and other financial obligations are not things that can be let go. If they aren't bringing you joy, then change your perception. Change how you're looking at them or viewing them. If they can't be let go like finances, then bring them into some sort of reconciliation, where they can be dealt with quickly so that you can move on to other things in life.
So the question posed was.... "Identify one energy entanglement that is draining my energy."
And.... I came up with several. Most of which required a shift in mindset and some significant prayer. But two in particular that I identified that I need to let go... 1 - My "yes, of course" and 2 - Wheat
1 - My "yes of course". I have gone through the last several years of my life as a stay at home mom with the mindset of "I am a stay at home mom so that I can do all those things that people who are working/have important things to do don't have time for". That translated into every time someone asked me if I had time to do X, Y, or Z cause they didn't have time to, I would say, "Yes, of course". I need to LET THIS GO! Let my "no" out of the closet.
2 - Wheat. Somewhat self explanatory. I've been talking about going wheat free forever. I've been slowing taking it out of my diet over the last year, but I still eat it at least once a day. The inflammation caused by wheat is one of those things that isn't going to be remedied until it is out of my diet completely for about 2 months. It is zapping my energy, giving me headaches, making my joints ache, making me hungry when my tummy is actually full. I have a sugar addiction, and the wheat and the ways that wheat makes it into my body are holding me back from reaching my full potential in life.
