Recap from Day 19 - Eco... I went looking for the ingredients on my glass and counter cleaner products, and low and behold, "water, cleaning agents, dissolving agents, etc". What is that!? They don't even tell you what you're using to clean your home. I bought the "better life" product that tells me not only what the ingredient is, but what it does...  "100% plant-derived cleaning agents from soap bark, coconut and corn... 100% natural scent extracts from sage, lemon and orange" YAY! Did something eco-friendly today. :-) Day 20 - Don't wait...  Go WILD! Go outside!! Be in Nature! Enjoy the outdoors. Have some fun. Do something radical! In the next 7 days!! Today is a busy day, so not going to happen today, but I'm looking at my calendar, and I'm putting on the calendar for either Wednesday or Thursday...  On the River!!! I'm going to find a friend with either Paddle Boards or Kayaks, and we're going to paddle the river. ...

Day 18 - Stand Guard! My life is a physical manifestation of the conversation that is going on in my head. Feed my mind like I would my body. No rotten plates of food. Only the Best, most healthy, nutritious, glorious, tasty foods!!! Wait a minute!! Noone is putting me down, I'm doing that to myself!!! Evict those thoughts. Put them out! Identify one piece of toxic thinking, or one source of negative energy. Eliminate that thought. Eliminate or neutralize that negative source. And DON'T leave a void. Fill it with something positive! One piece of toxic thinking.......  - I am not good enough at anything to make a difference.  - Removed and replaced with God Loves Me. I am infinitely more valuable to him than I can ever imagine. With Him by my side, I am good enough to do His work with every breath I take. Day 19 - Eco Savvy Take stock of what cleaning products are in my cupboard and read the ingredient labels. No Matter What - 28 days to results... Day 17 - Balancing the Body and the Mind The idea here - Your body is a temple, an instrument. It is the machine that gets us to the goal, my goal. One of a happier, healthier me that can dream big dreams, and then look to God for the path to get there, and then be able to walk down or RUN down that path. Make a commitment to Body, Mind Balance Ask yourself - What does your body need? In the next 24 hours, give it just one part of that. What does my body need? It needs to breathe. It needs rest and quiet. It needs to sit by the still waters with Jesus and ask Jesus what HE wants and needs from me. Today, Right now, I'm going to go into the music room and meditate. Meditate on my bible study that I did this morning. Meditate on that question.... What does my body need? What does God need From my body? Looking for answers, looking to Jesus, and finding His way to transformation... K

Day 16 - After everything I've been through the last few days (See Missing Time ), it feels kind of silly coming back here and talking about will power, but I'm committed to it, so here goes. Lisa Nichols talks about how willpower is a choice. It is our decision to choose life giving over convenience. Will power changes our health, by CHOOSING life giving food over the convenient food in our pantry. The challenge is to get rid of the convenient, yet NOT life giving food in our fridge or pantry. - Done. Did that last week. Make sure that your commitment to my physical wealth and physical future are in alignment with my investment in every other area of my life. And I can do that through willpower. Make a commitment to my physical wealth and physical future. That means: making an investment of time into preparing foods on a weekly and/or biweekly basis. Feeding 6 people is hard out of one fridge. I shop on Sundays for Sunday night, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday morning....

Well, this has been a crappy few days. Days of poor decision making. Days of focusing on me only instead of me and how I affect those around me. I've been missing from the blog since the 29th, so here's a recap of the last three days. I'm going to now own it, identify it, and move forward. Wednesday was going well. I had a very productive morning. The kids were having a great day. #3 got her entire room cleaned up from the glitter fight she and her brother had the night before. I was supposed to go to a live home auction at 1:30, but #3, #4 and I didn't get out of the house in time. Instead, we went straight to the school for back to school packet stuffing. The first PTA thing I've done all summer. I'm realizing as I'm writing this that this gig is what started a string of events that lead to our downfall. I'll get to that in a minute... We got there early, so I had a chance to catch up with a couple of friends: administrators, administrative assista...
